Common questions about the Climaapod app.

Does the app work without internet at home?

Yes. When you are at home on the same WiFi network as your Climaapod device, the app communicates directly with the device over your local network. No internet connection is required. All live readings, alerts, and history work completely without internet when at home.

How does it work when I am away from home?

When away from home, the device connects via a cloud relay. The same live data and alerts reach your phone from anywhere. An internet connection on your phone is required when away from home WiFi.

Can multiple family members use the app?

Yes. Multiple phones can be connected to the same Climaapod device. Each family member creates their own account and links to the same device. All accounts receive the same alerts and can view the same data simultaneously.

How do I set up the app for the first time?

Download from the App Store or Google Play. Create an account. Scan the QR code on your Climaapod unit or enter the device ID manually. Follow the WiFi pairing guide — takes approximately 2 minutes. Live readings begin immediately after pairing.

Can I adjust the target temperature and humidity manually?

The app includes a Manual Mode accessible from the dashboard. You can set custom targets, override the automatic seasonal mode, and schedule modes. The default automatic mode handles everything without input — most users never need to change a setting.

Is the app free?

Yes. The app is completely free to download and use. No subscription, no monthly fee, no in-app purchases. Full functionality is included with every Climaapod device for the life of the device.
